Our goal is to produce the most reliable equipment to a very challenging need of evaluating the reliability of electronic products and assemblies that use lead free soldering with no clean solder paste.

ASR Instruments Incorporated was founded in Pennsylvania in 1990 after realizing the need for evaluating the reliability of electronic sub-assemblies. ASR has a patent on Surface Insulation Resistance (SIR) measurement test equipment. We have been working with the IPC SIR Task Group for over 20 years.

Our customers include Boeing, Intel, Bellcore, Motorola, Lucent, AT&T, Celestica, Kester Solder, Alphametals, Enthone Omi, Cookson, Morton Electronics, Aim, Northrop Grumman, US Airforce, IME, Litton, Norvartis, Netsteel, etc. We have customers and service providers in Canada, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Thailand.
